Around the World

“Around the World” is the name of this lovely quilt pieced and hand quilted by Mary Chupp, amish friend and neighbor to the Bradway family. Not only has Mary donated this beautiful quilt for the October 3 auction at Amish Acres, but she has generously offered to cook a 12 person meal, located at her home. Bidders be ready! This 12 person meal is one of the variety items, other than quilts to be auctioned. A list of these items will be made available soon. Watch for the posting.

Square Root

We have received a 70″x70″ quilt, donated from Cabin Fever Quilter’s Guild, Fairbanks, Alaska. “Square Root” has been pieced and quilted by Kelley MacDonald and Katherine Colquhoun. It was made in honor of two Alaska troopers, Trooper Gabe Rich and Sergeant Patrick Scott Johnson, EOW 5-1-2014. “A Quilt for Mother’s Tears” foundation hopes you will join us Saturday, October 3 at Amish Acres in the Round Barn theatre at 10am. Please help show the law enforcement community that you have their backs in support!

Patchwork of Color

A patchwork of color, this 45″x36″ quilt has been donated to the collection for “A Quilt for Mother’s Tears” auction, Amish Acres, Nappanee is the side for the October 3 event. Previewing of the quilts is offered on Friday, October 2, 10am-3pm and 5:30-8pm in the Locke located in the Greeting Barn. Saturday, October 3, registration begins at 8am-9:30am. Introductions 9:30, auction will begin promptly at 10am in the Round Barn Theatre. Please plan to join us — and help to make this worthy cause a success!

Christmas Frost

This appliqued Christmas frost has been added to the donated quilts for October 3 auction, at Amish Acres. Quilt measures 46″x46″ and can be used as a table topper, wall hanging, or just place it on the back of your sofa. Made and quilted by Sheri Bradway, mother of Officer Rod Bradway eow 9-20-2013, founder of “A Quilt for Mother’s Tears.” Join us on Saturday, October 3.
